Thanks Wolf Creek Adventures for guiding my kids ( ages 3 and 5 years) on the geo-cache tour at Wolf Mountain!  Gayle was absolutely wonderful and she captivated my kid’s curiosity throughout the entire hike. Both kids were intrigued and eager to use the GPS gadgets to find each cache.  They loved looking at the flowers, bugs, moss and other cool things through the hand lens that Gayle brought along.

At first I wondered if my kids would be able to handle the trail we had to descend, knowing that we would eventually have to ascend again—would I have to pack them out?—Would it hold their interest long enough to finish?  To my surprise, they were completely enthusiastic to keep on going to the next cache.  I didn’t once hear them ask-“how much further?” Instead, Gayle was great with the kids, gently guiding their curiosity.  The hike was perfect for kids and adults: I think I had more fun than they did!

I would recommend this hike to anyone who is introducing their little ones to the outdoors and hiking.  It’s a great activity for them to focus on how incredible nature is, and how much fun a hike can be!

I recently purchased real estate at Wolf Creek, and being an avid fly fisherman, I was anxious to find the best fishing locations close to my new home.  You guys made that quest easy for me when you hooked me up with your great fishing guide service.  Not only was he professional, helpful and knowledgeable, but  he was a lot of fun!  We caught a mess of fish!  I didn’t even have to embellish my fishing stories to sound impressive—it was that good!

We visited Wolf Creek Resort this summer, as we have many times in the past, but we were thrilled to see the new Adventure building, with its friendly, helpful staff on hand to take the pain out of planning our vacation time.  Instead of us trying to keep our large family entertained, we turned to the desk at Wolf Creek Adventures and gave them the job.  They rented us kayaks one day.  They also set our older kids up with some crazy but awesome downhill mountain biking at Wolf Mountain.  My personal favorite was the family horse back riding adventure we all went on together.  They were able to accommodate our entire family—even the little ones!  The scenery on the ride was beautiful and even challenging, but our guide was perfect—just what you’d expect a “cowboy” to be--Our daughters were smitten!  We even saw several deer and a moose along the trail.

My husband and I are so relieved to be able to turn the “fun” responsibility over to the adventure staff.  We would highly recommend them. They treated us right, and we’ll definitely go to them on our next visit!

I’m not usually one to write a “testimonial” but thanks to the level of service given by your guide on our family’s snowshoe tour, I would be very ungrateful to not speak up…

There is a 6 year age difference in our two children, which can and does create challenges when trying to do activities together.  In this case, it was our plan to do a snowshoe tour.  Our 9 year old was thrilled, but our 3 year old wasn’t interested.  It seemed like the only alternative was for me to stay back while my husband took our older son—(not exactly the “family” adventure we had envisioned!)  The guide was sympathetic to our dilemma, and took it upon himself to solve it.  He actually took the time to round up an old fashioned sleigh, which he used to pull our 3 year old on, as the rest of us simply enjoyed snowshoeing along.  Talk about going the extra mile!  Our little one loved it!

As I said Melodie, -I don’t usually do this, but you don’t find that kind of service everyday—Kudos to you and your staff for finding such great guides for your adventure department.

Dear Adventure Team

I went on a kayaking adventure, and I just wanted to let you know—it was great!  I had no idea that Causey Reservoir went back so far!  The water was amazing; I could have stayed out there all day!  The staff was wonderful-very friendly and knowledgeable.  There are so many adventure opportunities in the Valley.  I was able to get some perfect photos. It was a beautiful day!
